“Our little Charlotte Grace Waterman was born 7/31/12 weighing 8lbs 3oz! She is a doll and we couldn’t be happier!” Schefft, a former The Bachelorette star, tweeted Wednesday.

Charlotte Grace joins the couple’s first daughter, 20-month-old Mae Elizabeth. The couple had announced they were expecting another baby in January.

Schefft and Waterman wed in May 2009 after meeting on a blind date in February 2008 and dating for a little over a year.

Schefft first appeared on The Bachelor’s 2003 third season in which Andrew Firestone proposed to her during the finale. However, the couple split in December 2003 after dating only a few months.

She then went on to star in The Bachelorette’s third season two years later, but rejected marriage proposals from both of her final two bachelor suitors during the season’s final Rose Ceremony.

Sure, I love certain characters from episodes of yore (be still my ever-loving Roberto, Ames and Reid heart) but for the first time in a long time, I actually ended the season with a feeling that I had been somewhat entertained each week instead of the usual, “Why does this show have to be two hours long when clearly 30 minutes could suffice?”

Perhaps I liked this year because of Emily’s no nonsense attitude toward the traditional rules set forth by “Bachelor” nation. Maybe it was her Southern charm and integrity. It could have been her determination to actually take this reality show seriously for once by truly seeking out a connection that could spark a future relationship. I think she had viable candidates in both Arie and Jef and even though I agree with her father that you can’t technically be in love with two people, I believe she did have genuine feelings for both. This reality, ironically, made for pretty good reality television.
